Adventure, Challenge and Discovery

An Adventurous Journey is one of the most rewarding experiences in Scouting. It challenges young people to step outside their comfort zone, work as a team, and apply the skills they have developed through their Scouting journey.

Unlike a typical activity or camp, an Adventurous Journey is a youth-led expedition where participants take responsibility for planning, preparing, and completing a journey that challenges them both personally and as a team.

Whether travelling by foot, paddle craft, bicycle, skis, or another suitable method, the focus is on adventure, self-reliance, leadership, and learning through experience.

More Than Just a Trip

An Adventurous Journey is about much more than reaching a destination. Participants are challenged to:
