Scouts - Explore the Unknown

Scouts is the third section of Scouting and is for young people aged 11 to 15 years. Scouts are encouraged to challenge themselves, discover new interests, and develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.

The Scout program focuses on adventure, leadership, teamwork, and personal growth through a wide range of exciting activities. From camping, bushwalking, and pioneering projects to canoeing, cycling, community service, and outdoor challenges, Scouts are constantly learning by doing. Members are encouraged to take increasing responsibility for planning activities and leading their peers, helping them build independence and resilience.

At Cardiff Scout Group, our Scouts meet alongside our Venturer Scouts, creating opportunities for younger and older youth members to learn from one another and participate in a diverse and engaging program.

For young people who are ready to challenge themselves, make new friends, and embrace adventure, Scouts offers endless opportunities to Explore the Unknown and discover what they are capable of achieving.

Scouts NSW offers a free 4-week trial (registration required through the Become A Member page) and we welcome enquiries from families interested in joining our Scout section.
