Joey Scouts is the first section of Scouting and is designed for young people aged 5 to 8 years. Joeys enjoy a fun, exciting, and safe environment where they build confidence, make new friends, learn new skills, and develop a sense of adventure through games, outdoor activities, creative challenges, and community involvement.
At Cardiff Scout Group, our Joey Scouts currently meet alongside our Cub Scouts, allowing younger members to participate in a wider range of activities while still enjoying a program tailored to their age and stage of development.

Whether your child is keen to explore the outdoors, try new experiences, or simply have fun while learning valuable life skills, Joey Scouts is a great place to start their Scouting journey.
Scouts NSW offers a free 4-week trial (registration required through the Become A Member page) and we welcome enquiries from families interested in joining our Joey Scout section.
