Cub Scouts is the second section of Scouting and is designed for young people aged 8 to 11 years. Cubs take part in a wide variety of fun, challenging, and adventurous activities that help them develop confidence, leadership, teamwork, and resilience while making lifelong friendships.
The Cub Scout program encourages young people to explore the outdoors, learn practical life skills, participate in community projects, and challenge themselves through activities such as camping, bushwalking, games, creative projects, and special events. Through these experiences, Cubs build independence and discover their potential in a supportive and inclusive environment.
At Cardiff Scout Group, our Cub Scouts currently meet alongside our Joey Scouts, providing opportunities for younger members to learn together and participate in a broad range of engaging activities.

Scouts NSW offers a free 4-week trial (registration required through the Become A Member page) and we welcome enquiries from families interested in joining our Cub Scout section.
