Our very own Baloo planned, managed and operated the Amateur Radio base at the Australian Scout Jamboree in Maryborough QLD. January the frequencys were alive with the sounds of scouts calling CQ (Radio speak for Hello anyone there?). Scouts learnt about Different bands, Atmospheric conditions, Sun activity, Morse code and SDR's. Baloo managed a team of 6 leaders that had 10,000 scouts and leaders thru the base over the time of the Jamboree. Bravo Baloo.
